| SEEDS Parents have many opportunities to volunteer and participate. Here are a few ways you can help! Advisory Board SEEDS Advisory Board was established in January 2001. It's purpose is to provide assistance to the SEEDS administration in formulating goals and strategies for SEEDS. The Advisory Board meets once a month and the minutes of these meetings are available for all parents in the SEEDS office. All parents have the opportunity to communicate with the board and/or Director by placing agenda topics or concerns in the suggestion box in the SEEDS office. Volunteer Coordinator A Volunteer Coordinator/Coordinators is chosen every school year to assist the staff with voluteers for special events such as Outside Centers Day, Splash Day, Picture Day, Christmas celebrations, ect. The Coordinator is responsible for calling all Homeroom parents and being a liason to the SEEDS Administration. Homeroom Parent Each class has a Homeroom Parent who is responsible for calling volunteers within the class to schedule them to help during special events. The Homeroom Parent also helps the teacher when needed for special classroom activities. |
