| Karen Bedore, Director of SEEDS (as seen pictured above) and Cindy Borgerding, SEEDS Preschool teacher, were honored at the annual HAAEYC Awards Banquet May 29, 2007. HAAEYC, the Houston Area Association for the Education of Young Children, strives to improve the education and welfare of young children. Karen Bedore was awarded "Administrator of the Year" for 2007. Cindy was one of three HAAEYC's "Teachers of the Year" awarded in 2007. Their love and understanding in the early childhood profession is to be commended. Congratulations Karen and Cindy! We are all so very proud of you! |
August 29- Parent Orientation 7-8:30pm. All parents will meet in the CLC (beside the Pavilion). After you will go meet your child's teacher to discuss classroom policies and sign up for volunteer dates and Homeroom Parents. T-shirts, sweatshirts and car decals will also be sold on this night. August 30- Meet the Teacher Day. Children and parents will come meet their teacher and new classmates. *9-10:00 M/W, M/W/F and M-F sessions meet *11-12:00 T/Th sessions meet Sept. 3- Labor Day Holiday Sept. 4- First day at SEEDS for T/Th session Sept. 5- First Day at SEEDS for M/W, M/W/F & M-F sessions Sept.12/13- Homeroom Parent Meeting after drop-off in A&B. Yellow Day so wear something yellow. Sept.19/20- Donuts for Dad. Mom's come set up 8:00am and Dad's Bring children at 8:30 to enjoy. We will also have a Guest Speaker for our Dads (and Moms) in A&B after drop-off. Sept. 24/25- Prayer Service at 9:30 and Spirit day! Wear your SEEDS t-shirts Sept.26/27- Cy Fair Fire Department visits. |
