Apple Lady Bugs
2 red apples
1/4 cup raisins
1 tbs peanut butter
thin pretzel sticks

Slice apples in half and scoop out cores. Attach raisins to the red side of the apple using peanut butter as "glue".  Poke pretezels in side for legs

"Haystacks"
2 cups of butterscotch chips
2 cups chow mein noodles

Melt chips in microwave or in double boiler stirring often until smooth. Stir in chow mein noodles. drop by spoonful onto wax paper and cool.

Peanut Butter Smoothie
(great way to get your kids some more protein!)
1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
1/4 cup milk
2 tbs. creamy peanut butter

Place all ingredients in blender, blend until smooth.

Cinnamon Pullapart Rolls
3 (10ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough
2 cups sugar
4 tbs ground cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375. Grease 8 inch cake pan. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Open biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. roll biscuit pieces in cinnamon/sugar and arrange in pan. Stir remaining cinnamon mixture and pecans into melted butter. Pour over biscuits and bake for approx. 45 min.

Black Bean Pinwheels
4 ounces
(1/2 of an 8 ou. pkg) cream cheese softened
1/2 cup monterey jack cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 tsp onion salt
1 cup canned rinsed black beans
3 flour tortillas
salsa
mix cheeses, sour cream, and onion salt until well blended. place beans in food processor or mash with a fork until smooth. spread each tortilla with beans then cheese mixture. roll up. refrigerate 30 min. Cut into 1/2 inch slices serve with salsa
